The Hammocks Lanai Sunrooms & Patios got its start in 2018, right here in The Hammocks. The founders saw the same thing in neighborhood after neighborhood across southwest Miami-Dade: homeowners with beautiful properties spending most of the year inside because the heat, the bugs, and the summer storms made outdoor living impractical.
The Hammocks is a tight-knit community, and a lot of families here have been in their homes since the late 1980s and 1990s when this part of Miami-Dade was first built out. Those homes are solid, but many of them were designed before screened lanais and enclosed sunrooms became the expected standard for South Florida living. We built this company to help those homeowners finally use their outdoor space the way they always intended.
